Treatments covered by health insurance
The surgical fee for the following treatments is fully covered by VHI, AVIVA, Laya Healthcare, GloHealth and the Garda Medical Scheme when you are treated at Blackrock Clinic Specialist Dentistry. If you are a member of any of these schemes, please let us know and we will happily complete the necessary paperwork for your claim.
- Removal of impacted or unerupted wisdom teeth
- Removal of other impacted teeth
- Removal of unerupted teeth
- Removal of roots of teeth, which are firmly invested in bone
- Removal of lumps and swellings from the mouth
- Exposure of impacted canine teeth
- Removal of more than six permanent teeth
- Removal of cysts of the jaws
- Re-implantation of a tooth
- Labial fraenectomy
Please note that depending on your level of cover, a facilities or technical fee may apply for day case procedures. Any costs that are not covered by your insurance will be fully discussed with you at the time of your assessment.
